Comma Splices

Comma splices are one of the serious grammar errors in the sentence level. I assume that these are just like "comma in a wrong place," but I am wrong. A comma splice occurs in these ways:

* Two independent clauses are connected by just a comma without using coordinating conjunctions.
* Two sentences are combined and fused together in one sentence without using any punctuation.

By referring to the conditions of committing comma splices, I realized that I made a mistake in our assignment last time. ;(

  1. I agree with you on what you said regarding your fist impression about comma splices. I also thought they are just like sentences that are connected inappropriately because of comma misplacement, but now I am having a hard time with it. I hope I could get through with it and have good results.
