Seeing Emily

Have you ever encountered a book written in verses? I do. The book is entitled Seeing Emily. It was written by Joyce Lee Wong. The author used free verses in order for her to deliver her piece. Actually, it is my first time to encounter such work. When I saw the book, I did not think twice to buy it, because I think there are only a few authors who write using verses. Hope that you can read or can encounter such works in the future.

It must be, "When I saw the book, I did not think twice to buy it because I think there are only a few authors who write using verses."

There should be no comma before the word "because" since it is a subordinating conjunction.

  3. I agree with you Jason, we only use comma when connecting two independent clause before the coordinating conjunctions (FANBOYS.

  4. Charlotte, check your comment before posting it. Your parentheses are incomplete. I suggest that you also put an article before the word "comma".
