Yesterday was Friday the 13th. Is it a fact or a superstition? I looked up on it and found its origin and folklore on why it is unlucky. There is also called paraskevidekatriaphobia or the fear of Friday the 13th. Try to read more of it at: http://urbanlegends.about.com/cs/historical/a/friday_the_13th.htm

Honestly speaking, I never got afraid of this "Friday the 13th" concept, my favorite number is even 13. I believe so because I have faith in God, and I know He will never put me in danger. Another thing is that how could it be possible that one can predict that on the 13th Friday there will be several accidents? It's called accident because it happened unintentionally, no one wanted or planned it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a matter of how strong you believe in God.
For me, "Friday the 13th" is just a superstition because a day cannot make a person unlucky and I believe that being lucky depends on what a person does in his life. Thank you for sharing the new word "paraskevidekatriaphobia".
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kyle. "Friday the 13th" is just a superstition and there is no scientific basis to prove that this is a fact.
