My brother gave me an "are -you-serious?" look and said, "it's FLAM-able, not FLAME-able". From that day on, I never forgot how to pronounce Flammable correctly and when someone mispronounces it, I do my best to correct them in the nicest way possible.

Put a comma before "and."
I had the same experience with Bony. We have the tendency to mispronounce word because we were taught that way, or it was just how we do it. Thank you for the post. :D
