Since our next topic is about verbs, I want to share this link to all of you. It's a list of 211 common irregular verbs. The list is consists of the base form, past simple, past participle, 3rd person in its singular form and the gerund. Hope it can help you.
I remember what I saw on my classmate’s report. He wrote the word “teached” rather than “taught”. Irregular verbs are useful in learning English. We should know and familiarize it.

Maybe I made mistakes regarding irregular adverbs. Thank you for the list.
ReplyDeleteAngenica is right. I received a text message from my friend, it goes like this: "My mother TEACHED me how to write, but never TEACHED me how to dougie". I was shocked because it is a basic irregular verb.
ReplyDeleteThere are many irregular verbs and we have to familiarize them.Thank you for the list Jessica.
ReplyDeleteThe most common error I observe when reading the essays of my older sister is the use of the word 'DRINKED' for the past tense form of the word DRINK. I once used that word (unaware of it ofcourse!) in my paper and I got a big "x" mark.
ReplyDeleteWe should really be careful in using irregular verbs. Thanks for reminding us Jessica.
Irregular verbs are really hard to master because people intend to forget that irregular verbs exist. Thank you for sharing a list of irregular verbs. :)
ReplyDeleteI also taught that the simple past of the word teach is teached. Knowing the irregular verbs really helps. Thanks for reminding Jessica.
ReplyDeleteWhile reading the given list of irregular verbs, I realized that there are lots of verbs’ past participles which are not that familiar to me. Thanks to you, Jessica.
ReplyDeleteThe list you have shared was very helpful Bony! Thank you for posting this.
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading your post and came across the word gerund, I was reminded of diagramming in our English class in high school. I found diagramming very fun and engaging. It was not boring at all. It was probably my favorite lesson in English back then.
ReplyDeleteThe link is indeed helpful. Thanks for the link
