Plagiarism Plague


Plagiarism is the illegitimate use of words and ideas without properly recognizing the original author. It is like stealing somebody else’s intellectual property and taking it as one’s own. Most of us may have already done it, whether intentionally or unintentionally. We must all avoid committing plagiarism because there are risks that come with it.

  1. In my opinion, the easiest way to avoid plagiarizing is to avoid using the "copy and paste" in making a paper.

  2. Your post is very up-to-date and is applicable to most of us, students. In my situation, there are time that I just copy information from the Internet, but I make it a point that I still edit the entire article. I do not want to disrespect the author or writer of the article. It is just like doing things that you want others to do for you.

  3. On the first site, it stated that the first tip to avoid plagiarism is to avoid procrastinating. I agree with that; for most of the time, we are being tempted to copy and paste something from the internet because of cramming.
