Adjectives vs. Adverbs


There are cases where one can't clearly identify whether a word is an adjective or an adverb. In these cases, he/she must always remember that an adjective modifies a noun or a pronoun, on the other hand, an adverb modifies verbs, adjectives, and adverbs.

  8. I think your second sentence is a run-on sentence. You should have used a conjunction or a period between the two independent clauses.
    By the way, thank you for reminding us of this simple but deceiving problem. I hope we don't confuse adjectives with adverbs.
