ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, when we construct sentences, we should be as simple as possible and be straightforward. Some people just like to impress others with their vocabulary without knowing that their sentences are getting confounding.

There are really some writers who uses deep vocabulary on their writings. Their choice of words may seem impressive to some but for people who knew the English language very well, it is insipid.

We must be reminded that before moving on to the next step, which is writing, it is really essential that one understands each basic structure in the language. If it is attained, then it’ll be easy to use them effectively. Improving one’s writing will be the next goal.

ReplyDeleteLimor, it is "these mistakes again" or "this mistake again", depending on what you meant. By the way, I like how you used "keen". I don't see that word very often.
ReplyDeleteI also like how Charlotte used "ungrammatical" and how MJ used "insipid". I almost always learn new words when reading these posts.
