Why Study Adverbs?

Why do we really need to study adverbs? Can't we just focus on nouns, pronouns, verbs, and adjectives? It's been a while since I reflected on the importance of adverbs. Adverbs are words/phrases that could intensify the emotion or thought of another part of speech. We must use adverbs so that we could be able to stress out and emphasize on important notes.

    I also had the same thought before. Adverbs give color to our communication. Using adverbs help us to put into words the exact feelings we want to express. Indeed, adverbs are useful to us that is why we need to know how to use them properly.

    Adjective is the icing in a cake and adverbs is the cake flavor. Both have an important role in the grammar cake.

    Some do not often use adverbs because their knowledge about adverbs are limited.

    According to that source , the royal order of adverbs is Manner, Place, Frequency, Time and Purpose. We should take note of that. :)

    The point is, we should not neglect any part of speech. Each of them is a big part in the language. That is why we are being trained to appropriately use lots of words which contributes to the English language.

    English world is lifeless without the presence of adverbs. We should always remember that adverbs are part of the English language.
