WORD TRIVIA

I want to share this link to you about some word trivia. As you know, trivia are unimportant matters. Still, it is a good thing to know about them. Even though they are not really important, they can somehow enhance our knowledge and give us some good reads.

  1. I disagree that word trivia are unimportant matters. In my opinion, I think trivia are very useful when I want to learn things about life and even with English vocabulary. It is a very entertaining yet informative way of learning.

  4. Jessica is right. I looked up on the meaning of "trivia" and it means "unimportant, trifling things or details, especially obscure and useless knowledge".

  5. I think some people consider trivia as an important thing because some claimed trivia are actually not trivia. Some claimed trivia are actually significant things that one must know.

  8. They were called trivias because those informations that were considered as trivias were not necessarily needed to know by an average man. It was just an extra information. Some trivias were fascinating and entertaining.

  11. Trivia interests me. I consider it as an enjoyable way of learning and educating. That’s why I like your post Jessica. :) I enjoyed the indicated facts about the words in the English language.

  12. I never knew that the plural form of "trivia" is "trivia". I always thought it was "triviae" or some other word. Thanks for enlightening me.
    Anyway, nice post. Though, you could have clarified what you meant when you said "give us some good reads". I was a little confused after that phrase.
